Looks like Quincy is not the only one to want an American-themed birthday party. He received this invitation today from a boy he hardly knows at school. I thought it was hilarious! How often do 13 year old American boys wish to have a "French" themed party? Today was just a busy day of French lessons, French tutoring, taking the puppy out for potty breaks and taking the kids to and from school at the regular times in addition to lunch time (since it's Tuesday and that's our routine). I did manage to have my American friend over for coffee this morning and to introduce her and her 2 year old to Coco. Suzanne laughs when she calls me on the phone because she always says that I answer so hesitantly and apprehensively but as soon as she starts speaking her American English to me, I relax and jump into the conversation. I just dread the phone, 9 times out of 10, it's someone that I can't understand!
