The Lions

Max had a great time at his sleepover last night. Enzo's father told me that there was lots of laughing and lots of fun. He said that he just loved hearing the kids speak a combination of French and English to each other. All of the other kids' parents are thrilled with the English that we have introduced their kids to! Max said that they watched two soccer games last night and that he cheered for "the Lions" who were playing Italy. I couldn't figure out who "the Lions" were at first as these are professional national teams, until it dawned on me that it was Lyon, as in Lyon, France! I thought it was very cute that Max thought he was cheering for the lions. Max was one tired boy today however after his late night.
No one had school today so we hung out at home and did some errands. Quincy is gathering all of his skiing gear together in preparation for his week long ski trip to the Alps and I was getting our guest room ready for the coming arrival of our first guests. My parents will be here on April third for their first trip to Europe and we are all very excited for their arrival! Calvin had yet another birthday party to go to for a school friend. He is quite the social butterfly!
