Checkmate

Max stayed home from school again today. Our busy weekend caused him to be wiped out and let his mono catch up with him a bit. I kept him home and quiet so that he is ready to go tomorrow.
I took Coco in to get groomed again today. I then found myself buying her a little pink jacket because it's just been so cold out and is only going to get colder!

I couldn't imagine sending her out in the cold, freshly shorn, to go to the bathroom several times a day. The boys think that she looks a bit too girly in her coat but Tabitha loves it. Josh just rolls his eyes...
The kids all brought home their report cards today. I love these days! Sure makes me proud!

I had asked Calvin if I could put his wooden chess board that he bought in Russia, in our living room on one of the end tables. This has then prompted a daily chess game between Calvin and Quincy. They play very well together and are pretty evenly matched. Fun to watch!
I cleaned out the garage today. It is the one place where we still have things in boxes and not put away. I remedied much of that situation today. My new car is supposed to arrive next week and I want to make sure that it has a nice home, out of the cold!
