Today was an interesting one. I rode along with my friend, Jane, and her daughter, Georgia, on a college visit to Ball State. Georgia is a senior at Quincy's school and trying to decide what career path she wants to follow and which college she would like to attend. She thinks she might be interested in architecture or interior design. It was very interesting for all of us to see the campus and for me to start thinking about what process will Quincy soon need to go through. Expectations and standards keep getting higher and higher. We were also surprised to learn just how many jobs require a Masters Degree for entry level positions.
After leaving Ball State, we drove up to Fort Wayne where my interior designer sister had made arrangements for Georgia to shadow an interior designer friend of hers for the day. Jane and I did some shopping and enjoyed some coffee while Georgia experienced a very enjoyable afternoon. She really felt like she got a good look into a career that might interest her. Thanks Sarah!
I am finally posting Calvin's latest school picture. I posted the others weeks ago but not his...
