Today was crazy sock day in the spirit of Red Ribbon Week for both the high school and the elementary school. Quincy did not get into this at all but Tabitha and the little boys had a good time with it.

After a cold morning walk, I got busy painting our half bath. It was finally time to stop priming and to add some color!

I am thrilled with the new color and managed to get two coats put on today. Hopefully, I can finish this job in the next couple of days.
Tabitha's 8th grade class spent the day shadowing the high school kids at Quincy's school. This was their opportunity to see the high school from an insider's view as they begin to make their decisions about where they will go next year. Quincy felt like quite the big shot to have these "little kids" at his school all day.
Most of the day was rainy and gloomy here, I hate to see all of the rain knocking off all of the beautiful leaves. We still have a pretty view from our kitchen however and I never tire of looking at it.

Quincy is baking us a pumpkin pie this evening. It is one of his favorite foods so I thought that it was time for him to learn to make it.
