End of the Season

Tabitha's soccer team lost in an overtime shoot out on Thursday night. Ending their undefeated season, earlier than they had hoped by losing in only the second game of the sectional tournament. Everyone was crushed but pleased with their season as a whole. Max is not feeling well this morning, a slight fever and a sore throat so he is sitting out of his soccer tournament today so... dare I say it?... Our soccer season is OVER!!! After 14 practices a week and 4-6 games per week since early August, we are finally FINISHED! Wow! It was fun but exhausting! Now, we will have basketball for 3 and swim team for 3 starting almost immediately. Sigh....

We were thrilled to have Josh's aunt and uncle come for a visit yesterday. We don't see Diane and Jerry nearly enough so we had a great visit and a pleasant dinner.

I worked the Food Pantry live auction benefit last night. The committee put on a great evening with many wonderful donations to auction off. As I worked the "check out" portion of the night, I got to see all the big bucks roll in and was very happy to see that our little town raised more than $65,000 for our local Food Pantry.
We woke up to a cold, foggy morning this morning. The temperature was only 36 degrees! Josh and I each took a picture of the fog in our yard. Being competitive like he is, Josh would like you to tell us which picture you like better...
