While the other kids and I hung out at home and went to the library and grocery store yesterday, Quincy and Josh headed to Dayton, Ohio. Quincy is not only taking drum lessons but also takes an experimental music class at school. This has introduced him to the "music" of the Blue Man Group. He was very eager to see their performance so Josh took him to their show yesterday afternoon in Dayton. Josh and I have seen them perform before but it is always fun. Quincy loved it and can't wait to tell his music teacher today about the experience.
We took Leo to the public library yesterday. He decided that he wanted to try to read an English book other than the ones that he has been working on for English class. He is not a reader at all and always seems puzzled when the whole family sits down to read books for an evening. I discovered that he has no interest in fiction but he did want to try to read "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Spencer Johnson. Strange choice but someone had recommended it to him.
