The French are very particular about doing things in a certain way. They seem to have a proven formula for all tasks and don't like to deviate from this. They also freely offer advice to anyone that they see deviating from this formula. I had one man tell me that he had seen me turn off my car and get out of it without engaging the emergency brake. He told me that this was not the way that it should be done. I didn't take his advice too seriously since I drive an automatic and was parked on a level parking lot. Tabitha had red and watery eyes this week due to all of the allergens in the air. By Friday, she was sick to death of everyone telling her what exactly she needed to do for those eyes. Josh took this picture at the super market. We feel like it accurately sums up this French attitude as it tells you exactly how to use your shopping cart!

Speaking of Tabitha's eyes, when we took her to the doctor to get some drops, he told her to make sure that she was very careful about washing her hands before putting her drops in. She made the comment that they don't have any soap in the bathrooms at school and the boys' bathrooms don't even have water! They shut it off after too many boys were starting water fights with it. The French are certainly not creating any super bugs!
Today was cool and very windy. Really felt like fall! I sure hope that we get our spring weather back soon. Quincy still managed to spend a great weekend at the beach house of a friend.
