We have had ridiculous amounts of rain lately. We are still managing to have some dry mornings though so I am getting in all of my walking. Before the rain began in earnest this morning, I managed to get a good picture of the gorgeous leaves that are all around us.
Tabitha went to a near by high school for what is called "Reality Check" today. All of the 8th graders chose a profession and then had to see how they would manage to live on the salary that they received. They had a pay for living expenses, child care, car payments, utilities, taxes, etc. It was an excellent program and really eye opening to her! She has been debating for awhile about whether she wants to be a lawyer or an airline attendant when she grows up. Today, she made her decision! That lawyer's salary was much more manageable!
Because Taba is in the 8th grade, they are including baby pictures in the yearbook for her class. Here is the one that we dug out of her. Boy, seems like this baby girl came home from the hospital with us just yesterday!
