Sleeping Beauty

Quincy headed out for his three day leadership retreat this morning. He is very excited and I'm sure that he will have a great time. After doing some puttering around the house, it was time for Tabitha and I to drive into Cincinnati for a matinee performance of the Cincinnati Ballet. Tabitha had received tickets to see Sleeping Beauty for her birthday and today was the day.

We got dressed up and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

It was in the beautiful 1877 Cincinnati Music Hall and we enjoyed the building almost as much as the show!

Very fun! Josh and the boys carved pumpkins and roasted the seeds while we were gone.
After another long weekend of feeling much more like we have a difficult boarder in our house rather than a new member of our family, this very appropriate show was just too funny not to share...
ABC's, The Middle from Oct 20

The show looked like it fit right in with your situation. We didn't see much of it though. We don't have a good enough internet connection to keep it from being choppy. How did the program solve the problem?

Dear Anonymous,

The family accidently discovered he liked to fix things when their car broke down, which helped..but the last scene shows him back home with is own family, and he is acting like a typical teenager...similar to the older brother in the US family.
