As an important sidenote to our recent trip back to the States, I have to tell you about what Tabitha, her aunt, Sarah and her two cousins, Penny and Anna all did.... They all had 10 inches cut off of their hair to donate to Locks of Love for children with cancer or other issues which cause the loss of hair. I am so proud of all of them! It was Anna's idea... Anna is 8 and enjoys long hair as much as the next girl, she then talked her mom into joining her to grow out their hair so that they would have enough to donate. When Taba heard about their plan, she decided that that was something that she wanted to do as well. Penny was a bit reluctant as she is very attached to her very long hair but when she saw what everyone else was doing, she joined in as well and added her 10 inches to the donation. We all had a great time hanging out at the hairdresser's while everyone got their hair cut. Such a great thing!! Tabitha is already anxious for her hair to grow out again so she can donate another 10.
