Just my little boys.... Quincy and Tabitha had school this morning so I took Max and Calvin to the open air market after dropping off the big kids. We had a great time, buying and looking at some fresh produce and enjoying the sights of the city beginning to get ready for Christmas. As we were wandering, we discovered a beautiful little patisserie/tea shop so we went inside for some petite dejeuner ("breakfast" for all of you Americans). It was so fun! We were served fresh squeezed orange juice, croissants, brioche, fresh strawberry compote, coffee for me and homemade, fantastic hot chocolate for the boys!! We just loved it and felt very spoiled. The boys have decided that this needs to be our every other Wednesday tradition when the other kids are at school. We then headed to soccer practice for Max and froze our tails off during another cold, rainy, windy day. All afternoon, the kids have been making and coloring pictures of turkeys as our little tribute to Thanksgiving. I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.... I have to admit that we are all a little sad to be missing such a great Holiday! We have many things to be thankful for this year! We do plan to celebrate with a traditional American turkey dinner with some French friends on Sunday.
