Today, was just a lazy, rainy day. This was truly the first all day rain that we have had since we arrived here despite the fact that people tell us it rains often in this part of France. Today was a cold, steady, hard rain until about 5 p.m. so we basically did nothing all day. The kids played with Josh (they use him as a jungle gym) and each other while I baked and planned my Thanksgiving dinner. I made my first baguettes today and they turned out beautifully. They also made the house smell wonderfully! I also baked some Snickerdoodles for our touch of home. Moving from a 4000 square foot house in the States to a 1500 square foot house hasn't seemed like too terrible of an adjustment (I love how quick my cleaning time now is!) until you have days like today.... When there is no place to go to get away from each other, it feels a bit small. We were happy to see the sun finally shine late this afternoon.
