They don't seem to celebrate that here for some reason.... We do have fond memories of celebrating Cinco de Mayo however, back in our Texas days. Anyway, we had a gorgeous, gorgeous day today! The sun shone brightly all day long and the temperature reached almost 80!! My friend,Sabine, felt it was too warm while we took a long walk this afternoon but I thought it was perfect! Cleaning, grocery shopping and visiting with Sabine filled my day and the kids enjoyed a big water gun fight in the backyard when they got home from school. Great fun!
One thing that I forgot the other day but I thought was quite funny....
We had the plumber here all day on Friday and half the day on Saturday as he replaced our radiators.... The plumber spoke almost no English at all but he was always whistling, "Oh, Susannah"!
