Today was just a return to everyday life for us. The kids finally had school again, Josh had to go to work so for me, that meant getting in a run, doing some laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping and having my French lesson. Not too exciting but a nice calm day after our fun but busy long weekend. Here are a few more pictures of Belle Isle from yesterday.
We did have one upsetting thing occur today.... We had a very polite note in our mailbox from our neighbors telling us that Coco barks often when we are gone and leave her in the yard! We had no idea!!! She is never barking when we leave or when we return and she barks so rarely in general, this completely caught us off guard! We certainly do not want to annoy anyone so we will have to come up with a solution.

Our neighbor with dogs said that a radio on helps. Giving her a place to go, like a big box or a doghouse, is also good. We had that same trouble with Honey. We ended up putting her in the house during the day.
