It's a French Thing??!!

Today was pretty boring as Max was still sick so he and I just hung out at home. We did some yardwork and some baking. We also managed to see a very funny thing while driving to Sene to pick up Calvin after school.... While driving down the main drag through town, we saw 6 or 8 men and women all dressed in very nice black suits with white shirts, wearing black shoes, carrying black umbrellas (straight up overhead on a gorgeous, bright and sunny day), walking in single file, boy/girl/boy/girl. They were synchronized in their movements and even all wore their hair in similar styles..... What was that???! We have no idea but it was quite entertaining to watch.
Josh made a disturbing revelation today while picking up milk on the way home from work. He realized that we not only pay $10/gallon for gas over here but that we also pay $5.65/gallon for milk! Do you know how much milk this family drinks? I never pay much attention to the price because I'm always buying lots of groceries to go with it and because they confuse the issue by putting their milk in liter jugs and then selling those in 6 liter packs.

No idea who those black-dressed people were... but definitively it is no French tradition !

Concerning the milk price, you may take an expensive brand as I usually pay 3.6 euros per gallon (this is already expensive I think)...

You are right when you say things are expensive... but you can still try to spare money while buying clothes in places such as Kiabi (they have pretty outfits too), or buying NON-processed food in grocery stores (Intermarché is cheaper compared to Leclerc, Carrefour, or Champion...).

Have a great week-end !
