The Beach Life

Gosh, I could get use to this beach life sooooo easily!!
Today, Quincy and Tabitha had school in the morning so Max and Calvin and I did some grocery shopping. We all then met some friends at the port in La Trinité-sur-Mer for lunch at a creperie before heading to the beach house of my friend, Valerie. We did a little walking on the beach and then the kids spent hours in the pool. Very fun.... very relaxing for me, very tiring for the kids.
Josh was commenting tonight on the hand shaking that goes on at work.... He always has to greet everyone for the first time of the day with a formal handshake with the men and the cheek kissing with the women. He says that if he forgets whether he has already greeted someone that day and shakes their hand again, he is chastised lightly by anyone who observes this. French people seem to have no problem remembering who they have greeted already and who they haven't. I guess if you are trained from early in life to do this, it becomes instinct!
