Today was only about 46 degrees when we woke up, but the sun was shining and the sky was blue so we got our bikes together and headed out for a family ride. Not an easy task as we have two small cars and 6 big bikes! However, after a bunch of maneuvering around, we were able to get all the bikes and the kids in the cars. We drove out the peninsula toward our old house and hopped on the trails. We rode for a solid couple of hours and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and quiet of the countryside. Since the weather was gorgeous, there were lots of boats out and about. We stopped at the halfway point and let the kids play on the beach for awhile before turning around to head home. Very fun! Max did great despite his little legs being more than tired on the hills. When we got home, we just did stuff around the house like laundry and mowing the lawn. Max and Calvin played a lot of baseball in the backyard while Quincy and Taba made scavenger hunts. Nice, nice day.... It did get up to 70 later today but a cool breeze blew all day.
