Soldes is the word for Sale around here and wow, yesterday was the beginning of the sales! Apparently, France has two big times of the year when the stores are allowed to have sales. One is in January and one began yesterday. Quincy and Tabitha did not have school today so about mid-morning, Taba and I decided to head out to the mall the check out the sales.... They are good ones! Everything (and I mean, everything - from appliances, to shoes, to clothes, to lawn furniture) was about 50% off. Taba and I had a good time stocking up on some summer wear and purchasing a few gifts along the way....
The rest of the day was spent with friends at home.... Taba and her little girl friends love to bake so we always end up with cookies when someone comes over. Can't beat it!
