That's Not Coffee and Donuts!

Admittedly, we have not been doing well at going to church regularly since we moved here. If you think going to church with four young kids is painful in the U.S., try it in a country where no one understands one word that is being said! Anyway, this morning, we decided to try it yet again. We found a church where we know many people and where they are said to have a lively Mass. Mass actually went quite well and we found that we were able to join in on some of the hymns. We all need to learn our French prayers but we'll get there... After Mass, everyone filed out and seemed to gather in the courtyard for fellowship, just like our old church in West Lafayette. However, as we got closer, we realized that here, instead of serving coffee and donuts, they were serving chips and champagne!
Today was another gorgeous day with temps in the mid-70's and blue skies all day. We did a bunch of work around the yard and I even put on shorts (since I knew I wasn't going anywhere) for the first time since we moved here! That's a fashion usually reserved for the tourists.
Quincy and Tabitha have their last week of school this week.... the teachers are still handing out homework despite the fact that report cards have already come out.
